A floundering farce.Honestly, this is the most generous description I can give for the disparate elements, character shifts and absurd plot twists I would have found it successful if the age play was integrated with humor instead of the gloomy Gothic romance trying to mesh with the Gilbert and Sullivanesque romps and betrothal swapping.Overall, uneven execution.

This story shares the story of three orphaned sisters Their father had set them up with future husbands from babyhood When this story opens it seems like such a harsh and unloving scene The home they are living in seems full of gloom and the people employed in caring for these young ladies seem determined to hurt and humiliate them When the oldest sister has enough after learning about the upcoming marriages with some help from her sister decides to take off because a life of service has to be b [...]

SOMETIMES FATHER DOES NOT KNOW BESTI am a fan of Victoria Winters books, and this one did not disappoint It is a bit of a comedy of errors with the daughters of the late Duke and Duchess of Westchester Lillian, Evelyn and Gwendolyn were taken in by Edmund Preston, the Earl of Newcastle, a dear friend of their parents During the year of a proper morning, they were dressed and treated as children and placed in the nursery along with a Nanny and Governess When in fact, these three young ladies were [...]

What a great book The plot idea was a good one and the way it played out was a fun ride Three sisters, who each have very different personalities, thrown into a situation due to a tragic event I have to say I really disliked Edmund, really disliked, but he did manage to redeem himself by the end This was a fantastic read that kept me turning the pages until the end

Three sisters lose everything in a fire and are taken in by a family friend who know nothing about raising young ladies so put them in a nursery with childest clothes The oldest girl runs away to become a governess The younger girls fall for its a bit of a mixup but all works out A lovely lighthearted romance.

2.5 starsI read the reviews about how this story turned around from sad to happy and it did But that doesn t change the fact that these young women were abused in every manner It is later passed off with humor but as miserable as they were, it was too far to push my imagination to accept.

2.5 stars This was a difficult book to read and review Advertised as age play, the beginning felt like abuse Guardian did about face from abusive to kind then turned around and caned the oldest daughter again Very confusing.

ConfusingI gave this book three star because it changed from one type of story into something different The story was supposed to be about three sisters but really only focused on one Just seemed like the author wanted to get to the end.

I enjoyed the fun and playful plot twists I especially liked Percival, who was both a rogue and a gentleman I also liked the follow up at the end A fun read

For this kind of genre the storyline is ok, just until it becomes predicted The girls got to be with their perfect men Frankly I lost interest and I flipped through to the end.
