Although it took me a while to get into, once I did I was totally submerged within it Once you warm to the characters you really get a sense for them and you realize it was worth sticking with I found myself with full blown tears in parts and at the to be continued at the end I was genuinely gutted I am so glad I have it a chance It is well written and engrossing the you become familiar with it.

Loiske really created an interesting world and concept of the Pack, they could read each other s minds Only, when they let each other are they able to do this, although the character Sofia Leader of her pack is able to break into these barriers placed inside the mind to read into the mind, which resulted in a number of events to happen in the story, helping progress the story Sofia is a strong female character, which I was happy to root for many of the times Marie which is also my name, so weird [...]

The way that Miss Loiske writes is so natural and alluring There is poetry in her words with no signs of even trying That is why I use the word, natural There is an ease in the dialog and the words just seem to fit together flawlessly It is easy to get captured by anything this author writes It all feels so real as if the scenes in her books really took place though I doubt that since she writes paranormal stories These just don t feel made up or follow the same route that most of these stories [...]

The author gifted me this book in exchange for an honest review The prologue instantly captivated me In the first few pages of the well written fictional book, the author hooks the reader by revealing that the main character is immortal and has betrayed her kind by secretly living like a human In doing so, Sofia has put her mortal human husband and two daughters in danger By the time this alpha female realizes that a hunt for her has begun, the reader is filled with questions which are eventuall [...]

The concept was good, but the delivery was confusing Mainly due to all the back story in the first few chapters.Good I liked seeing how the main character cared about her family, and the way her powers were shown were rather unique.Bad I couldn t get lost in the book A lot of it is that I m not a fan of first person POV I feel detached in that POV Would have liked to see action as well. The foreign language I m assuming was German, which I understand very little of, which made reading it and try [...]

FINALLY There is a shape shifter book that doesn t involve vampires Whoop What s it sticks to the true fable of shape shifters and their abilities to transform into than just one facet Even the love triangle Ms Loiske included was well written, real and messy and complicated, not one of those whiny twilight teenage relationships In saying that I m team Gunward all the way though The plot continued along at a good pace and the character development was thick and heavy just the way I like it.

Good concept however hated this writers writing style

The story had promise, but it jumped around to much and there were too many characters It made it difficult for me to get into And the Gaelic mixed with Norwegian roots just didn t feel it
